We had Aaron’s birthday party on Sunday, which amazingly enough was his actual birthday.  Aaron is now officially 3 years old (I’ve been calling him 3 for the past few months).

The party was originally set to be held at a local park but due to hurricane-like wind and rain, we decided, about 30 minutes before the party was supposed to start.  There was a mad dash for phone numbers of people we’ve never met before but we got it all sorted out.  Meri did a wonderful job (as usual) of setting everything up.

The party was great though.  We had 5 kids from Aaron’s class show up and 4 other kids from the neighborhood.  Aaron got a ton of presents and just like any kid (of any age) he ripped everything open and really didn’t notice that there was actual stuff under all that wrapping paper!  All he knew was there there were objects in the house that were wrapped and they were his.

It was great to meet some of the parents of the kids that Aaron talks so much about.  We all had a great time.
