Well I did it, I resigned. It was a very difficult decision but it has been made. I am going to miss my coworkers and the no-pressure work environment here but moving my career from simple green screen to rich and robust web apps. It is a risk going from such a large, seemingly stable *cough* Project Accelerate *cough* company to a smaller company but Meri and I are young and the risk is small and worth it in our opinion. I will be able to expand my skill set and be a super Lansa programmer, sometimes referred to as a programming NINJA! That’s right, I said NINJA! I’ll be a l33t Lansa NINJA programmer, extraordinaire, with a tan (cuz I’ll be in Florida)!

In related news, I accepted the position in Orlando. I will be starting at my new company on September 18th. I’m very excited about going back to Florida and getting the f*** out of Memphis. Did I mention that I would be getting paid to do…gasp…web programming?? and that I would be a programming NINJA? Rock on!
