So I’ve been at my current job for just over a year (almost 13 whole months!). That is not a lot of time in my opinion. However, as much as I like my job here (and I really do), I dislike Memphis. Not just a little bit either. A lot. A whole lot. Call me crazy for thinking it is possible to use city schools as a source of education but that is not an option in this city. I’m not an elitest or any such thing. I just would not feel safe with Aaron in one of the public schools. That is just one reason for my little announcement.

I am going to be in Orlando have a face to face interview with my possible new employer. I’m a little nervous, but not about the interview. If all goes well in Orlando, I am very nervous about what that is going to mean for Meri, Aaron and I.

Bedtimes will be disrupted, Meri will not have a break from Aaron at all, plus we will have to put the house up for sale and then move! Ugh, we just did that…twice in the past year! Once from Jacksonville to the horrible apartment in Memphis and then from the horrible apartment to our current house.

This is gonna make life a lot tougher in the very near future. It would be a lot easier if they interviewed me and said “eh, we don’t need you” but for some reason, I have an almost arrogant attitude about this opportunity. This job and I seem like a perfect fit. I would be doing web stuff! Actual web programming, unlike here where “we’ll being doing web development soon”.

In other news, the mess from last week is coming to an end! About freaking time! The other fire that cropped up in the middle of all of my other #1 priority projects (all 3 of them at this point) is at an end as well.
