My company offers an awesome program called the daycare reimbursement plan. We utilized it for a while and it saved us a bunch of money because it is taken out of my check before taxes are deducted. Well since I got my raise, we’ve decided to try and discontinue that plan with the hopes that Meri could watch Aaron and we could take him out of day care. The money from my raise coupled with the money being left in my check from the discontinued daycare reimburesement plan equals approximately how much Meri would have brought home if she were to go to work. CNA’s don’t make much here. For what they actually have to do, it is insulting how much they actually make. I think this is a great thing for our family, mostly for Aaron’s sake!
