Lately I’ve been very obsessed with getting a working AJAX application. I’ve also become interested in trying to make some money off of my websites. I know I don’t generate many clicks from any of my sites but I’ve started to get the word out about my other website. I’ve been posting to other sites, registering quite a bit on a bunch of technical websites and trying to ask some questions regarding PHP, MySQL and AJAX. I’ve been trying to get a PHP script to read and XML file a produce a listing of an RSS feed. I’ve been carrying on for a while now. I think I would really enjoy doing some web development. Today I read about XHMTL and some of the advantages of that versus regular HTML. Today, I also signed up for Google’s Adsense. I plan on trying to get more content onto my other website, maybe putting up an additional technical blog, similar to this one but not family or my life-oriented at all; rather it would be more web development oriented. We’ll see how things go with all of my new responsibilities at work.
